The STAR WARS Paintings

The Star Wars Series began merely as a means to decorate the birthday party of my 7 year old son. Soon the project began to take on an aesthetic life of its own, and the final group of paintings were exhibited in Chicago just before the opening of the film "The Force Awakens". All works are acrylic, graphite and modeling paste on 9x9 wood panel, except for the initial three large scale pieces that began the series, "Luke Skywalker" and "Darth Vader", which are acrylic on canvas, and "Yoda", acrylic on panel.
